Hatha Yoga Classes
My aim is to provide a nurturing and safe environment where you can spend time focussing on the experience of your body, your breath, your yoga.
I run small classes with a maximum of 6-8 people depending on the type of class, which means that I can work closely with you to support you as you develop your practice.
My style of practice and teaching is rooted in Hatha Yoga with influences from many popular types of practice such as Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and Lyengar, and is constantly evolving. I invest a large amount of my time on personal development, both through attending workshops and training sessions and through self-study in order that I can continuously develop my own yoga practice and inform my teaching. I am curious to explore and experience new things and encourage my students to do the same, looking for new ways of moving, new ways of feeling, new ways of doing, new ways of being.
A typical yoga class will involve a breathing practice, some flowing movements with the breath, some classical yoga postures and a period of relaxation at the end.
