Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga practice is different from a more active practice in that the focus is on being rather than doing; the postures tend to be seated or lying down and we use bolsters and blankets to make each posture feel comfortable and supported to allow the body to completely relax.

The postures are held for anything from 2 to 15 minutes, and the emphasis really is on getting comfortable so that you can stay in a passive pose focusing on your breath and the experiences in your body.
